Types of protective tools

Today, safety is a top priority for many people.  And this is very correct.  To do this, many people buy special firearms.  They will be discussed today.

To learn more about this type of protection, we recommend visiting https://defensegears.com/.

Basically there are 3 types

Derringer, a small 1–4 shot weapon used as a last resort or personal defense weapon.

Revolver, a repeating weapon equipped with a drum or cylinder in which ammunition is stored and which rotates around its axis every time we activate the firing mechanism.

A pistol in which cartridges are placed in a removable magazine and which, when fired, independently performs all the actions necessary for a second shot (removes the cartridge case, installs the firing mechanism, inserts a new cartridge into the bedroom).

Currently, we have both revolvers and air pistols, which in some cases are replicas of firearm models, but in any case, they will fire bullets or bullets of 4.5 or 5.5 mm caliber.

There are also single-shot pistols, they don't have a magazine or ammo storage and we have to manually load the bullet after each shot.

Air pistols and revolvers have variable qualities and prices, depending on the intended use of the model, from everyday shooting to high competition, which can be even more expensive than firearms.

The decision on this or that model fundamentally depends on this aspect, the application that we are going to give our weapons.

For everyday and recreational shooting, there are many models to choose from, especially considering quality, magazine capacity or aesthetics factors.

If, on the other hand, we are going to purchase weapons for competition, we will have to evaluate the accuracy, the ability to accept accessories or customize them and, of course, the price.

Air pistols and revolvers can be single action (we have to manually assemble the firing mechanism after each shot) or double action, simply by activating the trigger, the pressure applied will mobilize all the necessary mechanisms to reload and fire.

Competition weapons are usually single action to avoid unnecessary pistol movement, however recreational weapons have double action mechanisms to make the shot more dynamic.

In terms of power, short-barreled aircraft weapons have less power, from 80 to 120 meters per second, which is sufficient for normal firing distances (up to about 20 meters).

Which type to choose is up to you.  The main thing before this is to decide for what purposes you need it.
